ABOUT Genden Design: Instructional Design & Technology

Genden Design, Training and Development Services offers a range of instructional design and development services to meet changing needs. We support active learning. We have been in business since 1990 offering an expanding variety of training and custom graphics services.

Susan Genden is President of Genden Design. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Instructional Technology at Wayne State University. Susan's background is in art, writing, graphic communications for print and web. Susan attended the University of Michigan as an English major, has a B.A. in Expressive Arts from Sonoma State University in California and has earned her M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University. She has completed coursework in art at College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Ontario College of Art in Toronto and San Francisco State University in California.

Susan has served as an adjunct in Media Arts and worked at various community colleges. She has designed and/or implemented training for government agencies, adult education facilities in school districts, for nonprofits and businesses.
